The Advisory Council for Kairos Outside of Western MO is offering an on-line weekly S.W.A.P. gathering beginning on Monday, October 4th starting at 7 pm. This is an OPEN meeting and all are welcome.

Sharing, Witnessing, Accountability and Prayer are at the heart of at our SWAP meetings. All participants are reminded that what is said/shared at SWAP is held to high standards of privacy by ALL. At the first SWAP we will be praying for an upcoming weekend and the next meeting (Monday, October 11) we will be praying as our guests and volunteers as return to apply what they have learned.
As you prepare for SWAPing, consider (S) what burdens you are willing to share, (W) notice places where God is present and where you struggle to sense God's presence, (A) consider how would you like others to be supporting changes you want to make in actions or attitudes, and (P) think about how you long for your community to pray for you/ how are you praying for your community.
Please be confident that to have this in our lives blesses us each and all!
All are welcome! If you have a guest in mind for the 2022 weekend, and you feel they are open to sharing, witnessing, accountability and prayer, they are welcome. If you have someone God is laying on your heart as a possible volunteer, they are welcome. Kairos lovers from Kairos Inside sisters who serve an inside team or participated while incarcerated are welcome. Family members are welcome. (Participants will be asked to introduce themselves including how they have come to join the meeting. This is because if we have people who are participating who have neither been on team nor a guest, we will be more specific about our commitment to Kairos principles of respect, privacy, and sticking to "I" statements where we share our faith, hope & experience without assuming our similar experiences confer the right to tell others how to handle their own life.)
We are NOT church and we are NOT counseling, but we are sisters of choice and love, and we long to be more deeply connected as we journey together.
